The college looks great! They have remodeled some of the buildings and it is really improved. Wish it looked this nice when we went there!

It's a perfect day in central Pennsylvania and the students, faculty, staff and administrators are off to celebrate Juniata's wonderful tradition.
Maybe you cannot take the day off of work but you can celebrate Mountain Day in your own special way.

Since the 1800s JC students, faculty and staff have celebrated Mountain Day. No one knows when it is... they announce it on that morning. The RAs run up and down the halls of the dorms and yell, "It's Mountain Day!!" And then everyone usually goes back to sleep and sighs a huge relief if they had a test that day. :)

All classes are cancelled and everyone is bussed to a place in the mountains for fun and celebration. Mountain Day is great! Of course, I always had football practice in the afternoon... so I had to come back early. But, it is still a wonderful tradition. Lots of good memories. Pictures of Mountain Day Last Year
