Heading to the Park

After a busy day at the zoo, nap, some dinner and cookies... it was time to end our afternoon of fun with a trip to the park. We have a really nice park here in our village. Tonight was a perfect night to go because it was not too hot, buggy or muggy.

Aidan played on the big massive jungle gym and slide for a long time. Most of our pictures were from his adventures in there. After that he did the rounds and went through the entire park.

He really enjoyed the baby swings tonight as well.

Zoo Trip 2007

The trip to the Houston Zoo today was a great success. It was a perfect day to go, a little muddy from the rain over the last few days, but it was not hot. Really pleasant day overall... or as I like to call it, "A Chamber of Commerce Day."

Aidan had a really good time, but clung to his woody Doll and hat the entire time. It really slowed him down, but he had a good time having his buddy Woody with him. At one point in the petting zoo park, Aidan dropped Woody right into a big pile of mud (yeah, it must have been mud... not poop, right?). Luckily they had hand washing stations outside and Norma was able to clean Woody up. While she was doing that, our little guy reached down and picked up these really cool little balls of chocolate on the ground! Yikes! More poop.

Aidan really liked the giraffes and elephants. I wish we would have gone by there at the beginning because by the end he was soooo tired. But, it was a nice way to end the day.

Heading to the Zoo Tomorrow

We are heading to the Houston Zoo tomorrow. It will be very interesting to see how the pictures look in comparison to our trip last year:

Aidan was SOOO much smaller. So little.
He had a ball last year. This year he will probably go nutz! We can't wait to take him.
