Snow Day Photos

Mr. Anderson, our Journalism teacher sent these photos out to us from the snow storm. They are spectacular.

Snow Day!

Today we got out of school at 1:45 - an hour early.  It really was snowing pretty good when we left.  But, by the time we got home (after renting a movie and getting some pizza) the snow was stopping and melting some.  It is going to get super cold tonight.  Into the 20s.  So people are concerned about the roads.  

Crazy thing?  Next Friday it'll be in the 70s.  So that's Houston for you.  They have a saying down here, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a while.  It'll change."  

Today was the Castle Project for my World History class and we had a very good time with it.  The kids did a wonderful job.  Here is an example:

Now I have to correct the essays all weekend!  :)
