Every New Year's Eve, I spend a few minutes and post about the last year. I do so with our Top 10 Blog Posts and also year in pictures. You can see last year's here:
Here is 2009 in Pictures:
It snowed in Houston, again! On December 4th, 2009. We got a nice dusting. It even lasted until the next morning in parts of the yard. Aidan loved it.
Great times at the Houston Children's Museum and at home. Aidan was a super collector as a 4 year-old and loved stuffed animals.

Our trip to PA was a great one. Two weeks with family and we had an awesome time. The pictures below are Aidan with Grandma Karen, his cousins Mary Kate and Claire.

We had an outstanding time in State College, PA during our trip. The stadium is Beaver Stadium on the Penn State campus. We are at the Lion Shrine at the top pictures. Aidan looks so little to me! The bottom right is a picture of us in San Antonio at 6 Flags Fiesta Texas. What a beautiful day that was!

Pictures on the left are of Aidan meeting Batman, his personal favorite super hero. Down the center are pictures of our great day during Thanksgiving break when we went to Galveston and flew a kite. And on the right is Aidan with his Aunt Aimee and her dog Jack.

These are a collage of pictures from central PA. The top left and middle are pictures of us at Juniata College, our Alma Mater. Crazy that it's been 17 freaking years. I am getting super old! On the right are pictures of Aidan with his cousins and Aunt Cindy at Raystown Lake in Huntingdon. They were feeding the fish. If you click on the picture it'll open up and you'll see how crazy big those fish are. And speaking of fish, one of the very best days of the year was when we went fishing in Stone Creek with Pappy and all of Aidan's uncles. We had a great time. There is Uncle Mike showing Aidan a fish at the bottom.

2009 was a big soccer year for us. Aidan played for the very first time and our Wednesday nights were reserved for practice and Saturday mornings for games. Aidan had a super coach and had a really great team. He got some practice earlier in the year when Uncle Billy showed him some pointers. Jack helped with a few pointers as well!

Aidan's 5th birthday party was at Jumping Joey's in Atascocita. He had a super time on all the inflatables. He got a great present from Pappy - Spike the Dinosaur. Lots of Aidan's friends from preschool and soccer came to share in the special day. His birthday is in October and we also had some pictures of him getting ready for pumpkin day. Unfortunately, my main man got really sick on Oct. 31st and we only hit about 6 houses for trick-or-treating. :(

Flash back to January and February of 2009 and it was filled with lots of Steelers fun. 6 Time Super Bowl Champions and one of the greatest finishes in history. Aidan had fun watching and loved being thrown in the air when the Steelers won it at the end. Maybe the next year will have some similar playoff memories for our Texans? (crossing my fingers)

December 2009 was filled with lots of Christmas spirit, a trip to see Santa at the Galleria and another successful tree topping.

This is a set of pictures from Aunt Aimee's house and also with my Grandma (top right). We had a super time with everyone this summer and we miss everyone very much. Aunt Katie and Uncle Tim are having fun horsing with Aidan at the top left corner. Grandma Fran is loving all the grandkids in the middle. Aidan is playing with his cousins at the bottom. Great memories.
These are a bunch of cool shots from last year. The top pictures are from "Crazy Hair Day" at preschool. On the side and bottom right are pictures from our June trip to Galveston. The center picture is my favorite of the year at the Houston Children's Museum. On the right side is Aidan posing with the world's largest Big Mac at the Big Mac Museum in Irwin, PA. Bottom right was fun at Idlewild Park in PA and a nice marsh mellow roast on our final night in PA this summer.

Here's looking forward to more great pictures and memories in 2010!
